PAPER REBELLION

Paper Rebellion was a current project funded by Arts Council England, based at The Commandery in Worcester. I worked with groups of young people and museum visitors to creatively explore the themes of the English Civil War; Peace, Freedom, Belief, Conflict and Power. Using book making and collage, groups learnt pamphlet making techniques and contributing to five large-scale contemporary mandalas. Using photocopied material from the historical era, and today’s newpapers we looked at how the five themes are relevant to our world and lives today.
